Anyone may browse NeedOrGreed.GG. To create an account, post, make offers or message other members you must be 16 or older, and you confirm this when you sign up. To purchase NGGold you must be 18 or older, and you confirm this before your first purchase.
NeedOrGreed.GG is a gaming community platform and trading board operated by Rail and Construction Services Pty Ltd, trading as NeedOrGreed.GG. The Platform operates in a forum-like format, facilitating the meeting of players who wish to trade in-game items. All actual item exchanges occur directly between players in the relevant game client. The Platform does not handle, transfer, or take custody of any in-game items at any time.
NGGold is an optional platform credit available for purchase. Users may also list items for free in-game Trade format with no NGGold required.
Supported games are organised into boards, each reviewed and approved under Section 7. The list of active boards changes over time as boards are added or retired. NeedOrGreed.GG is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any game publisher including Blizzard Entertainment, Eleventh Hour Games, Smilegate, or any other rights holder.
NGGold is prepaid platform credit owned exclusively by Rail and Construction Services Pty Ltd. Users are granted a revocable, non-exclusive licence to use NGGold solely within NeedOrGreed.GG. Users shall not:
NGGold purchases are final once credited. NGGold has no expiry while your account remains active and in good standing. NGGold balances are forfeited upon account termination for breach of these Terms.
NeedOrGreed.GG is not a bank, financial institution, payment service, money transmitter, or licensed financial service provider. NGGold is a non-monetary platform credit issued by Rail and Construction Services Pty Ltd for use within the NeedOrGreed.GG platform only. NGGold has no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash or external currency, and does not constitute electronic money or a stored-value instrument under any applicable financial services legislation. All monetary transactions are processed exclusively by Xsolla (USA), Inc. as Merchant of Record.
NGGold is spent only on features provided by NeedOrGreed.GG, currently featuring one of your own posts at the top of its board section for 24 hours. The price of each feature is shown before you confirm it, and the amount is recorded in your account statement.
NGGold cannot be sent, gifted, lent or otherwise moved to another member, and it cannot be offered, requested or accepted as payment for any in-game item, service or account. Member-to-member NGGold transfers were discontinued on 21 September 2026. Trading between members is always an exchange of in-game items through the game's own trade mechanisms, and is free.
A 20% bonus on NGGold is automatically applied to a user's first NGGold purchase. This bonus is applied to the base package value only and does not stack with any other discount, offer, or promotional rate. Where another discount or promotional rate would otherwise apply to a first purchase, the 20% first purchase bonus replaces that rate — it does not combine with it. The first purchase bonus is a one-time benefit and will not apply to subsequent purchases.
The first 200 members to verify their email address and complete three trades with three different members, each confirmed by both parties, receive a Founder badge and 1,000 NGGold of founder credit. The credit is added no earlier than 7 days after the account was created.
Founder credit is promotional. It is not purchased, has no cash value, may be sent to another verified member, but cannot be redeemed for money or refunded, and is spent before any NGGold you buy. One founder place is available per person. To prevent abuse, trades with linked or newly created accounts do not count, claims may be reviewed by staff before credit is given, and credit may be reversed within 30 days where a claim is found to breach these Terms. Founder credit is forfeited if the account is suspended for, or closed because of, a breach.
NGGold is sold in fixed packages. Current pricing is displayed on the Wallet page. All prices are in USD and inclusive of applicable taxes as determined by Xsolla. Package pricing may change with notice. No exchange rate is implied or guaranteed. Users shall be 18 years of age or older to purchase NGGold. Age confirmation is required at the point of purchase.

NeedOrGreed.GG is a community platform. All users shall treat others with respect. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
Accounts found to be in violation of this policy may be permanently banned at the sole discretion of NeedOrGreed.GG. All NGGold balances held by banned accounts will be forfeited and are not eligible for refund. No compensation will be provided for access lost due to conduct violations. To report harassment, contact support via the platform inbox.
Users may report listings, comments, or accounts that violate these Terms using the in-platform report function. Reports are reviewed by NeedOrGreed.GG staff against the Code of Conduct. Actioned reports may result in listing removal, comment deletion, feature restriction, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban. NGGold balances held by banned accounts are forfeited and non-refundable. False or malicious reports may themselves result in enforcement action.
Sellers may apply optional tags (flair) to listings such as "HC Only", "Willing to Negotiate", or "Bundle Deal". These tags are self-declared by the seller. NeedOrGreed.GG does not verify flair accuracy. Misleading flair that constitutes deceptive conduct may result in listing removal and account action.
Sellers may bump their active listings to the top of the market feed once per 24-hour period. Exploiting the bump system through multiple accounts or automated means is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
The Price Check board allows users to post items for community price assessment. Votes are Fair, Overpriced, or Underpriced. Vote tallies influence market analytics and price confidence indicators on active listings. Price Check votes are advisory only — NeedOrGreed.GG does not guarantee price accuracy or fitness for any trade. Users must not manipulate votes through multiple accounts or coordinated voting.
Following a completed trade, parties may leave a review of their experience. Reviews affect the seller's reputation score displayed on their profile and listings. Reviews must be honest and relate to an actual trade. Fabricated, coerced, or retaliatory reviews are prohibited and may be removed. NeedOrGreed.GG reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.
Users may add listings to a Watchlist to track items of interest. The Watchlist is a personal organisational tool only. Watching a listing creates no obligation on either party and does not constitute an offer or intent to trade.
Members may ask another member to witness a trade. A witness observes the exchange in the relevant game client and records what they saw. A witness does not hold, carry, escrow or transfer any item, in-game currency, NGGold or account credential at any point, is not an agent or employee of NeedOrGreed.GG, and does not guarantee any trade.
Witnessing is unpaid. Offering, requesting or accepting any payment or other consideration for witnessing — including real money, NGGold, in-game items or services — is prohibited, may breach the relevant game's End User Licence Agreement, and may result in suspension or closure of the accounts involved.
A witness statement is a record of one member's observation. It is not a determination by NeedOrGreed.GG, and the Platform does not warrant its accuracy. Staff may consider a statement when reviewing a reported trade. A statement known to be false is a breach of the Code of Conduct.
Members may not use NeedOrGreed.GG to advertise, sell, buy or arrange: software that automates a game client (including bots and map overlays), the configuration or hosting of such software, game accounts, or in-game services such as farming, levelling or rushing. These breach the End User Licence Agreements of the games we host forums for, and a post offering them will be removed and the account restricted.
NeedOrGreed.GG cannot verify how an item was obtained. Members trade at their own discretion, and a listing on the Platform is not a representation by us about the origin of any item.
NeedOrGreed.GG is organised into forums, one for each game. The Platform does not facilitate, broker, or intermediate in-game item transfers; all exchanges occur directly between players in the relevant game client.
Every board carries a recorded assessment of that game's publisher terms, naming the member who proposed the board and the staff member who approved it. Boards may only be proposed by verified members and do not become visible until reviewed by NeedOrGreed.GG staff. A proposal must include:
Boards are retired where publisher terms change, where a publisher objects, or where the terms prove incompatible with the notice-board model. Users remain solely responsible for compliance with the EULA of any game in which they participate. NeedOrGreed.GG accepts no liability for game account restrictions, suspensions, or bans resulting from a user's trading activity, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any game publisher.
NeedOrGreed.GG hosts listings in the following formats:
All listing prices and offers are free-text descriptions written by users. The platform does not parse, hold, escrow, or transact on any listed price. When a seller accepts an offer, the parties are connected via the platform inbox to arrange their in-game trade. After trading, both parties may confirm completion in the Sales tab — dual confirmation builds each party's trade reputation. NGGold plays no part in any trade between members and cannot be exchanged for items (Section 3b). The platform does not handle, transfer, or take custody of in-game items at any time, and holds no NGGold against any trade.
NeedOrGreed.GG provides no warranty that any in-game trade coordinated through the platform will be completed successfully. The platform connects traders but has no visibility into, or control over, in-game mechanics, server conditions, or the conduct of players once they leave the platform. NeedOrGreed.GG accepts no liability for failed, incomplete, or disputed in-game trades.
Listing and trade data contributes to platform analytics including price confidence scores displayed on listings and the Price Check board.
NeedOrGreed.GG does not operate, and will not operate, an escrow, holding, or middleman service of any kind. At no point does the Platform, its staff, or any person acting on its behalf take possession or custody of:
NGGold is never attached to, reserved against, or released conditionally in connection with any listing, offer, or trade. Listing prices and offers are free-text descriptions written by members; the Platform does not parse, hold, or transact upon them. Any movement of NGGold between members is a voluntary transfer initiated by the sending member under Section 3b, independent of any listing.
NeedOrGreed.GG does not act as an agent, broker, intermediary, trustee, or stakeholder for either party to a trade. Members are solely responsible for assessing their counterparty and for the conduct and outcome of any trade they choose to enter.
Members must not represent that NeedOrGreed.GG or its staff will hold, guarantee, insure, or underwrite any trade. Where members privately arrange for a third party to assist with a trade, that arrangement is entirely between those individuals; NeedOrGreed.GG does not endorse, appoint, verify, or accept any responsibility for such persons or the outcome of their involvement.
Where a trade coordinated through the Platform is not completed as agreed, either party may raise a dispute from the Sales tab in Inbox. Raising a dispute submits the trade record and its associated message thread to NeedOrGreed.GG staff for review. Members may also report listings, comments, or accounts at any time using the in-platform report function.
Because the Platform holds no items and no NGGold against any trade (Section 8a), dispute resolution does not involve the return, release, or reallocation of value between the parties. NeedOrGreed.GG cannot recover in-game items, reverse an in-game trade, or reverse an NGGold transfer between members. Dispute outcomes are limited to enforcement action against the account or accounts found to be at fault, in accordance with the Code of Conduct, and to the reputational record attached to those accounts.
NeedOrGreed.GG will review disputes in good faith on the information available to it. Its determination is final. Disputes are ordinarily resolved within 3–5 business days.
All game names, items, and related trademarks referenced on this Platform are the property of their respective owners. NeedOrGreed.GG does not claim ownership of any game content. The Platform software, NGGold credit system, and NeedOrGreed.GG branding are owned by Rail and Construction Services Pty Ltd.
By using NeedOrGreed.GG and purchasing NGGold via Xsolla, users are also bound by Xsolla's EULA. Users shall not use Xsolla-powered software to gather in-game currency or items for sale outside the relevant software, perform account boosting for payment, or facilitate wagering on game outcomes.
Rail and Construction Services Pty Ltd shall retain all transaction records for a minimum of seven (7) years in accordance with Australian AML/CTF obligations. Xsolla, as Merchant of Record, shall retain payment records in accordance with their regulatory obligations. The Platform shall monitor for suspicious transaction activity and report as required under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Rail and Construction Services Pty Ltd shall not be liable for loss of NGGold, virtual items, or account access arising from user conduct, platform downtime, or third-party actions. Liability is limited to the value of NGGold in the user's account at the time of the relevant incident.
NeedOrGreed.GG reserves the right to restrict, suspend, block, or permanently terminate any account where it believes on reasonable grounds that the account holder has breached these Terms or the Code of Conduct, has engaged in fraud or unlawful conduct, or presents a risk to other members or to the Platform.
This right applies regardless of the NGGold balance held in the account. NGGold is a revocable, non-exclusive licence to use platform credit within NeedOrGreed.GG (Section 3); it is not the property of the member and is not a stored-value or monetary instrument (Section 3a). A balance of any size does not exempt an account from enforcement, does not delay enforcement, and does not create an entitlement to continued access to the Platform.
NGGold balances held by suspended, blocked, or terminated accounts are forfeited and are not refundable, transferable, or convertible into money or any other value. Where NGGold was obtained through, or applied in furtherance of, a breach of these Terms or the Code of Conduct, it may be removed from the account irrespective of how it was acquired.
NeedOrGreed.GG may act immediately and without prior notice where the conduct is serious, ongoing, or presents a risk to other members. A member subject to suspension or permanent ban may appeal once under Section 6 of the Code of Conduct. Xsolla shall be notified of terminations affecting pending transactions.
Nothing in this section limits any right a consumer has under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where NeedOrGreed.GG has reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, real-money trading, a payment chargeback or reversal, account compromise, a breach of these Terms or the Code of Conduct, or conduct that may be unlawful, it may freeze an account while it investigates. A freeze is a precaution, not a finding against you.
While an account is frozen:
We aim to complete a review within 30 days. When a freeze is lifted, hidden posts and offers are restored. If the review finds a breach, we may suspend or terminate the account under Section 13, and Section 13's provisions on NGGold apply.
We will normally tell you that your account is under review and how to respond. We may withhold that notice, or the reasons for a freeze, where the law requires or permits it, including obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth). We may share information with Xsolla, payment providers, game publishers or law enforcement where this is necessary to investigate or required by law. You may respond to or appeal a freeze by emailing support@needorgreed.gg.
Material changes to these Terms will be notified via the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Xsolla shall be notified of material changes at least 10 business days in advance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
NeedOrGreed.GG offers optional two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance account security. When enabled, users shall be required to verify their identity via a one-time code sent to their registered email address upon each login. This code expires within five minutes and may not be reused.
Users are responsible for maintaining access to their registered email address. NeedOrGreed.GG shall not be liable for account access issues arising from a user's inability to receive 2FA codes due to email access failure, spam filtering, or other factors outside the platform's control.
If a user loses access to their 2FA email, they must contact support to request a manual 2FA reset. NeedOrGreed.GG reserves the right to require identity verification before resetting 2FA on any account. 2FA reset requests from administrators in the platform admin panel take immediate effect.
Two-factor authentication codes must not be shared with any other person, including NeedOrGreed.GG staff. NeedOrGreed.GG will never request your OTP code.
